SCRUFFYRICO

Hey all. 

My name is Richard aka SCRUFFYRICO I am a UK based music producer / Emergency Department nurse. I got into making music during the first lockdown. I initially planned on taking up DJing again, maybe do some streaming etc. Having not DJed since the early 90s on my still owned 1200s, I always wanted to get back into it.

However - I then stumbled across Ableton and since then my passion for making music (and my bank account) have not been the same. I am particularly fond of melodic house / techno style, that said I love classical music and this is a big influence for me. 

I started this journey with zero music theory knowledge and as such have been developing my craft from the very beginning and loving every second of the process -I have meet many truly inspiring mentors along the way and have had the privilege of working with some incredible producers and I look forward to things to come.
